Praying Single Mothers Conference - "Restore Me"
Restore me Oh Lord, purify my soul, that I may be your humble servant. Renew a right spirit in me and cause me to abound in Heavenly virtue forever more. Restore unto me compassion for the work of your kingdom and order my footsteps to walk the path you have ordained for my life. Renew my relationship with You and the love you have sacrificed for me. May an eternal flame burn within me, that I might be a light in darkness and help lead the lost to your everlasting love.
Renew my mind that I may forget the things of yesterday and focus on today. May my physical health be restored and all ailments be released, making me a new creature, strong in you , so I may have the strength to be the mother you have called me to be and carry out Your will for my life and for my children. Make my thoughts Your thoughts, my passions Your passions, my desires Your desires, my gifts Your gifts and my needs Your needs. Oh Lord, I have emptied out my cup that you may fill me up and restore me to the place where I first met you.

Minister Jones accepted a personal relationship with the Lord in January 1993 and in 1994 joined Vineyard Fellowship Church under the leadership of Pastor Deborah Graham. It was during this time that she received the call on her life. Minister Jones trained for four years under Pastor Graham’s leadership.
In 2004 Minister Jones joined Covenant of Faith Church under the Leadership of Pastors D. D. and C. Lynn Nabor. Her new pastors immediately recognized the call on her life and put her right to work. Minister Jones joined the praise team, administrative staff, Children’s Ministry and Christian Education Department.
After going through a divorce and becoming the single mother of 2, Minister Jones experienced a period of transition in her life. This was testing and proving time which led to her call to focused ministry. In 2008 she was ordained and joined the ministerial staff at Covenant. Since her ordination Minister Jones has continued to be spiritually led by the Lord and in March of 2009 she created an Internet Ministry called, “Praying Single Mothers”. Minister Jones currently resides in Buffalo Grove, IL. with her two children.

Noteworthy accomplishments include the National Urban League’s “Face of Leadership Award,” the “Human Resources Excellence Award,” the Dollars and Sense Magazine’s “Outstanding Business and Professional Women’s Award,” YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago/Chicago Tribune’s “Black and Hispanic Achiever’s Award and Quad County Urban League’s Equal Opportunity and Community Service Award.” She is also a much sought after speaker and lecturer on the topics of building Godly women, diversity, self development, leadership and teambuilding. In September, 2003 she delivered her inaugural message “Transformed … Not Trapped!” and continues to deliver Spirit inspired messages that impacts the lives of women … both the young and the “chronologically gifted.”
Pastor C. Lynn demonstrates one of Covenant of Faith’s three ministry pillars – “A Church Without Walls” through her active service in her community as a Board member of the Quad County Urban League, NAACP ACT-SO and other advisory and community organizations.
Pastor C. Lynn holds a Business Administration degree and a Graduate Certification in “Organizational Leadership and Applied Organizational Development.”
Living the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child,” Pastor C. Lynn is married to the Pastor D. D. Nabor and resides in Hawthorn Woods, Illinois. They are proud parents and grandparents who also reach out … touching the lives of the community’s children.

She now resides in Groveland, FL with her husband and their six children.

Deacon Janice Morgan
Janice Morgan was born in Joliet, Illinois and has resided in the Greater Chicago area most of her life. She is the eldest of 2 daughters. Janice and her sister were raised solely by her mother until her senior year of high school when her mother remarried. Observing her mother’s spiritual values and hard work, these characteristics set the groundwork for the woman God has guided her to become. Janice committed to a lifetime relationship with Jesus Christ at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. James McNear. She later joined Friendship All Denomination Church, also in Joliet, where the late Rev. Robert Turner was her shepherd.
After graduating from high school, she continued her education and graduated with her Bachelors Degree in Business Management. Married for a short period, God blessed her with one son Arick whom she has raised as a single mother since he was 18 months old and he is now in college.
After relocating to the Aurora area in 1998, she joined Progressive Baptist Church in 1999 under the leadership of Rev. Roy Brown to continue work in building God’s kingdom. In 2008, she was ordained as a Deacon. Janice has served on various ministries such as the sick and shut-in ministry, adult and youth music ministries, youth ministry and numerous community projects including an annual youth college tour and shelter outreach ministry.
